The Skull Rosary is an adventure featurette shot with a micro crew in 2012 and making it may be one of my fondest memories. I wanted to write something specifically for Tony Wayne, Kenny Cooper, and myself to play in. At the time we were regularly exploring the Verdugo Mountain range in Burbank while I was simultaneously playing a lot of the video game Uncharted. The combo inspired the tale of our fictional treasuring group, "Le Trois Vaisseau." It was the most ambitious thing I had ever done and came with a hefty 45 minute hike to and from location every day. But thanks to an incredibly dedicated cast and the help of some very talented friends, I was thrilled with how our mini adventure movie turned out. It features a truly gorgeous score by Dan Martinez and some ingenious and brave no-budget camera work by DP Brian Barrow. TSR won and was nominated for a wide variety of awards at festivals nationwide.

My only regret was never having Jericho (Michael Foster) stand directly next to Weston (Tony Wayne) to show how huge he is! What a waste of great casting.  In any case, I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it. Truly some of the most fun days of my life.
