A young man, dissatisfied with his place
as a cog, simply tries to get through a day dealing with
his boss, an annoying clerk, and everyone. The grass may
be more green but cash feeds the machine.
Feels Just Like It Should was one of the first 3P Projects
which stemmed from my friendship with Brazilian Director of Photography Felipe Scaldini.
The first short I ever wrote or directed, it was shot in October of 2008 in Tampa, FL, but
I didn't complete it till I moved to Los Angeles the
following year. It's a moody bitter piece about how it
sucks to be poor
that screams "film school project" and isn't nearly as
deep as I thought it was when I was a dumb 25 year old, but it
still holds a
special place in my heart as my maiden filmmaking
voyage.
